AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR – Remove & Replace – Each
SCAN P0128 ,P1009-00 CHECKED COOLANT LEVEL AND CONDITION. LEVEL IS GOOD AND CONDITION OF THE FLUID FAILED. TESTED THE AMBIENT TEMP SENSOR AND FOUND IT TO BE OUT OF SPEC. OFF BY 6 DEG AND IT NEEDS TO BE WITHIN 5 DEG DIFFERENCE IS ALL THEY SHOULD BE. THE THERMOSTAT IS WORKING WITHIN SPEC AT THIS TIME READS 192

TESTED HEATING AND A/C IN CABIN. FOUND THAT THE BLEND DOOR MOTOR ACTUATOR IS BAD AND WON'T REGULATE HEAT ON BOTH SIDES. BLEND DOOR FLAP IS BROKEN AND SOUNDS LIKE THE OTHER ONE IS BROKEN AS WELL. RECOMMEND TO PULL HEATER BOX AND TEST OTHER TWO ACTUATORS, THEN REPLACE ANY ACTUATORS AND BLEND DOOR FLAPS AS NEEDED.

FAN CLUTCH – Remove & Replace – Diesel
FLEXIBLE FUEL LINE – Remove & Replace – All Applicable Models
FOUND THE FAN CLUTCH CONNECTOR WAS LEAKING OIL. CONNECTOR LEAKED OIL THROUGH THE WIRING HARNESS ALL THE WAY TO THE COMPUTER. COMPUTER IS BAD DUE TO OIL DAMAGE. TRANSMISSION HARNESS WAS LEAKING, PULLING OIL THROUGH HARNESS AND RUINED NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH. RECOMMEND TO REPLACE COMPUTER AND REPAIR WIRING HARNESS AS NEEDED. RECOMMEND TO REPLACE FAN CLUTCH AND CONNECTOR AS WELL. RECOMMEND TO REPLACE VALVE COVER GASKETS AND FUEL INJECTOR HARNESS.

ROTORS ON FRONT AND REAR ARE WARPED AND PULSATING. FRONT BRAKE PADS AT 8MM. REAR BRAKE PADS AT 6MM. FRONT ROTORS ARE REUSABLE. REAR ROTORS ARE NOT REUSABLE. RECOMMEND TO TURN FRONT ROTORS AND REPLACE REAR ROTORS. EXHAUST RATTLE IS COMING FROM THE REAR HANGER PIPE IS RUSTED AND HAS A HOLE IN IT, RATTLING AT THE MUFFLER INTERNALLY. ALSO, THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD ON THE RIGHT SIDE IS MISSING TWO BOLTS. RECOMMEND TO REPLACE BOLTS ON MANIFOLD AND GO TO EXHAUST SHOP FOR MUFFLER AND TAILPIPE REPLACEMENT.
